From my experience, sofas are always a bit tricky when it comes to shipping.
They take up a lot of space — usually, we can only load 30 to 40 sets in one 40HQ container, so the container value is lower compared with bed frames or mattresses.
That’s the biggest drawback for sofas in export.

Many of my clients tell me they try to produce sofas locally, but the production process is too complicated — especially for fabric cutting and stitching.
So in the end, they still prefer to import from China, where we handle the production faster and with better cost control.

The demand is huge. Every family needs a sofa, and most people change it every two to three years, just like beds.
The good thing is, the complaint rate is very low, because most of our sofas are pre-assembled or only need a simple slot-in, no screws, no tools, no headache.

In my factory, I don’t mix sofa models in one container — each sofa model is shipped as a full container order.
That’s because the fabric purchase quantity must match the production batch, and mixing would affect both efficiency and fabric matching.

As for price, our sofas range from around USD $75 to $400, depending on the design and materials.
