The requested headboard appearance mattered for the retailer's product offer, but the original bed-base drawing could not be reproduced using our production method. The buyer needed to know whether the visible design could be retained with an alternative base, how the sample would look and what upholstery, slat and packing details would be supplied

EXECUTION STEP 01

We explained the structural limitation instead of promising an exact copy. After the buyer agreed that the bed base could change, we proposed our existing base while retaining the requested headboard appearance. We developed a dark grey velvet sample, reviewed the photographs with the buyer and updated the order description to include the selected fabric, metal base, slat arrangement and two-carton packing. We also discussed whether components could be packed inside the headboard when considering container loading.

We exchanged design-reference images, construction details, sample photographs, fabric selections and revised PI descriptions. The buyer reviewed the sample images and approved the revised order documentation before arranging payment.

Delivery Validation

Verified Project Outcome

We developed a sample using the alternative construction agreed with the buyer. The buyer then confirmed a subsequent two-container order, and we acknowledged receipt of payment for that order on 13 March 2025. This case documents design development and order confirmation.
