Bed Frame Inspection

Structure, fit and finish -- checked before loading.

Each bed frame is inspected against the confirmed specification. Structural integrity, hole positions, accessory completeness, fabric surface, slat system and gas-lift operation are all part of the standard check.

Frame structure & welds Check frame dimensions, corner joints, weld quality and overall rigidity against the approved specification and drawing.

Hole positions & hardware fit Verify all pre-drilled holes, bolt positions and cam-lock locations match the assembly instruction. Test-fit key hardware before packing.

Accessories & hardware completeness Count and verify all bolts, legs, slats, centre-support feet, instruction leaflets and spare parts against the confirmed packing list.

Fabric & upholstery surface Inspect fabric colour against the approved swatch code, check for surface defects, seam alignment, foam density and headboard panel consistency.

Wood slats & centre support Check slat quantity, spacing, material grade and centre-support bar placement. Confirm slat system type (curved / straight) matches the order.

Gas lift mechanism Operate the gas-lift piston under load: verify smooth travel, holding position and return speed. Check piston attachment points and safety straps.

Trial assembly Assemble a sample unit per batch using the shipped instruction. Confirm all parts fit, assembly time is reasonable and no parts are missing or misaligned.

Mattress Inspection

Spring, foam, firmness -- confirmed before compression.

Mattress QC covers the full construction: spring count and gauge, foam density and layering, firmness rating, finished thickness and the integrity of the vacuum roll-pack before carton closure.

Spring system Verify spring type (pocket / bonnell / hybrid), coil count, gauge and zoning against the confirmed specification. Check for protruding coils or uneven tension.

Foam layers & density Confirm foam density (25D / 30D / 35D as specified), layer thickness and correct sequencing. Check memory foam or latex layer position where applicable.

Firmness rating Apply load and assess firmness against the agreed rating (e.g. Medium, Firm). Where a reference sample exists, compare directly before mass-production approval.

Finished thickness Measure finished mattress thickness at multiple points. Confirm it is within the agreed tolerance of the specified dimension.

Cover fabric & handle Inspect cover fabric colour, stitching, handle placement and label against the confirmed fabric code and artwork.

Vacuum compression & roll packing Verify vacuum seal integrity, roll diameter and carton fit. Check that the mattress recovers to the correct profile after a timed expansion test on a sample unit.

Packaging & Container Loading

Carton specification & print Check carton grade (5-layer / mail-order), dimensions, gross weight, shipping mark, barcode and logo against the confirmed artwork and packing list.

Internal foam & corner protection Verify foam density, corner protector placement and panel wrapping. Confirm protection spec matches the agreed packing design for the destination and sales channel.

Carton seal & strap integrity Check tape width and coverage, strap tension and carton closure. Assess drop-risk areas for soft-packed components such as headboards.

Container loading plan Confirm loading quantity against the agreed 40HQ / 20GP plan. Photograph the loaded container before sealing, noting any mixed-SKU arrangement.

Photo & video documentation Capture product-level and carton-level photos and a container-loading video. Shared with the buyer before or alongside the B/L draft.

Third-party inspection Buyer-nominated or mutually agreed third-party inspection can be arranged. Scope, timing and cost are confirmed per order.

Confirm model, size, fabric code, structure, packing and special requirements before production starts.

Check frame, foam and spring during production. Flag issues before the full batch is completed.

Photo & video

Product-level photos, container-loading video and mechanism test shared with the buyer before B/L release.

Issue resolution

Any defects recorded, resolved and documented. Corrective actions retained as the repeat-order reference.
