Compliance evidence must match the actual product, material, applicant, manufacturer, test method, market and validity period. A factory certificate or a report for one material does not automatically prove that every finished bed or mattress meets every requirement.
Evidence buyers may request
- Relevant factory audit or management-system documents
- Material-specific reports for fabric, foam, boards or hardware
- Model- or construction-specific test reports where available
- Inspection records for the confirmed production order
- Report scope, issue date, validity and responsible organisation
Verification questions
- Does the report identify the same material or product configuration?
- Is the named standard applicable in the destination market?
- Are the applicant and manufacturing scope relevant?
- Is the report current, complete and independently verifiable?
- Does any product change require re-evaluation?
UKFR and other requested configurations
A buyer request for fire-retardant fabric, foam or a label is not itself evidence of compliance. Test method, component scope, finished-product construction and label wording must be reviewed for the actual order.
Before ordering
Tell us the target country, sales channel and required standard. We will identify available evidence and any testing gap. Final compliance responsibility and documentation must be agreed in writing.
